No carrier logos for the Galaxy S8 in the US
The Galaxy S8 has an outstanding design and Samsung managed to keep it clear of any carrier logos. The top and bottom bezels on the front of the device are too narrow for the Korean companys name, so it went on the back, eventually leaving no place for the carriers. That way the Galaxy S8/S8+ is the first Galaxy flagship to not have any telecom logos on its body.
AT&T and Verizon will sell the phones without their planet or check mark, respectively. The other two carriers in the US, T-Mobile and Sprint, stopped doing this a while ago. Missing logo on the device shouldnt deceive you - the telecoms still loaded the phone with splash screens and carrier-installed apps.
Enjoying the design is part of the smartphone experience. Sadly, Verizon didnât know that back in 2012 when it slapped its checkmark on the Galaxy Note IIâs home button and back.
