LGs 360 Cam is half off this weekend only

One of the LG G5s "Friends", announced alongside the handset earlier this year, is the aptly named 360 Cam. You can guess what this standalone device can do from its name, undoubtedly. It lets you capture 360-degree videos at 2,560x1,280 resolution through its two 13 MP sensors, each with a 200-degree wide-angle fisheye lens. You can then upload your creations to YouTube.

The 360 Cam has a 1,200 mAh battery that should last for up to 70 minutes of video recording on one charge. You can connect it to your smartphone via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and it weighs just 72g. We took it for a spin back in April, so make sure you read our review (with video samples included) if youre interested.

The 360 Cam is normally priced at $200 in the US, but until Sunday you can grab one from DailySteals for essentially half that, namely $99.99. If youve wanted to try out 360-degree video capture but havent so far decided to take the plunge and purchase a camera for that purpose, perhaps this deal will help you do it.
